On 19th September, initiated by China Communication Technology Co., Ltd.(CCT) and Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology, associated with Shenzhen Institute of Terahertz Technology and Innovation and other 19 enterprises and institutions launched the inaugural meeting of Terahertz Industry Standards Alliance (hereinafter referred to as TISA) which was successfully held in Shenzhen. Shenzhen City Market and Quality Supervision and Management Commission Baoan Market Supervision and Administration Ouyang Peng, Zhang Hongwen attended the meeting, more than 30 representatives from the 19 terahertz-related industries and institutions also participated in this inaugural meeting.
Taking the "standard lead, industry-driven, collaborative innovation, win-win cooperation" for the purpose, closely focus on the national and international terahertz industry strategic needs, give full play to terahertz enterprises, standardization organizations, research institutes, testing agencies and others, forming a joint force and coordination mechanism to enhance the core competitiveness of the terahertz industry, to promote industrial upgrading, for the industry efficiency gains.
In the witness of all the members, Ouyang Peng, delegate of the Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, Baoan Bureau, Ding Qing, vice president of CCT, alliance secretary-general, deputy director of Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology, the Union Deputy Secretary, Wang Yiqun, deputy director of Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology, and Liu Lanxiang, deputy director, Technology Management Center of CCT, all together to unveiled the plaque of the alliance. Then, Ouyang Peng issued a membership certificate to the members of the alliance.
At the inaugural meeting, under the host of Ding Qing, general secretary, the alliance members reviewed the "Terahertz Industry Standard Alliance Regulations" and listened to the introduction by the alliance secretariat about the alliance work. Subsequently, secretary Ding Qing and Zhang Yandong, director of Integrated Management Department of SITTI made special speeches respectively on the terahertz industry and the terahertz technology. The two experts deeply explained the current development status and future of the trend of terahertz industry.
As the joint secretariat unit of the Terahertz Industry Standards Alliance, CCT will continue to push forward the standardization of the terahertz industry while doing the union secretariat work at the same time. CCT will unify the enterprises to formulate the standards of terahertz technology and management. In combination with Shenzhen's policy of building Shenzhen standards, we are going to do the standard work from the source of industrial technology development and jointly work with enterprises to take off this high-tech industry ----THz in Shenzhen.
